Is Charli feeling like Dixie’s ‘Human Punching Bag’ on the D’Amelio Show?

The latest episodes of The D’Amelio Show have brought to light the tensions between Charli and Dixie D’Amelio. In the season’s first two episodes, released on September 20th, Charli referred to herself as her sister’s “human punching bag.” It seems that Charli feels constantly attacked by Dixie, but believes that others don’t see the full extent of it.

However, in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Dixie admitted that looking back on their fight, it all seems “so dumb.” She acknowledged that a 15-minute conversation could have resolved the issues they’ve been facing. Dixie added that the lack of communication made their lives miserable for months, but now they are better at talking things through.

Charli, too, chimed in on the matter, noting that fights between siblings are normal and that they go through ups and downs. But she did stress that seeing their arguments play out on a larger scale made her realize how unnecessarily dramatic things can become.

In the season 3 premiere of The D’Amelio Show, Dixie and Charli got into a heated argument while filming a confessional. Dixie was preparing for a concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles when the fight broke out. It started when Dixie said she had rehearsals and Charli responded that they were going together. Dixie insisted she was actually participating in the rehearsal and not merely watching it, which led to further disagreement.

As tensions escalated, Charli called her sister “grouchy” and told her to find another roommate. Dixie expressed frustration, feeling as though everyone wanted to portray her as the villain. At one point, Charli even told Dixie to stop acting like a bitch. Later, Charli arrived at Dixie’s rehearsal and found her in tears. Charli confessed that it’s challenging for her to handle Dixie’s emotions because she never knows if Dixie wants her support or her distance.

The episode ended with Charli leaving Dixie’s show at the Fonda Theatre, indicating that she didn’t feel wanted there. Charli mentioned reconsidering living with her sister, and their mother, Heidi, expressed concerns about them moving into a new house together. Heidi stated that Dixie doesn’t always realize how hurtful she can be, putting Charli in an uncomfortable position.

It’s clear that the dynamic between Charli and Dixie is complicated, with both sisters struggling to communicate effectively. The D’Amelio Show continues to shed light on their relationship, and it will be interesting to see how they navigate their issues in future episodes. New episodes are released every Wednesday on Hulu.
