Spotted: Ed Westwick and Billy Blair’s new thriller ‘Tonic’ gets greenlit by Oceana Studios.

The talented and dashing Ed Westwick, known for his role in “Gossip Girl,” is teaming up with the rugged and charming Billy Blair, of “Doc Holliday” fame, in the thrilling new film “Tonic.” And guess what? Oceana Studios has snagged the worldwide sales rights to this must-see movie.

Directed by the brilliant Derek Presley and produced by Muscular Puppy, “Tonic” tells the story of Sebastian Poe, played by Blair, a washed-up piano player who gets caught up in a murderous deal with a corrupt police officer. As if that wasn’t enough, he’s thrown into the dark and dangerous streets of Dallas, where he encounters all sorts of shady characters. And who better to play a ruthless and shady figure than Ed Westwick himself? That’s right, Westwick takes on the role of Stanley Roberson in this gripping crime thriller.

The film, shot in the historical district of Dallas, Deep Ellum, has already made waves at the Los Angeles International Film Festival, where it took home the award for best thriller. Oceana Studios CEO, Danny Sawaf, expressed his excitement for representing this brilliant film, stating that it’s one of those rare crime thrillers that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
