Hey everyone, it’s time for another round of eliminations on The Debut: Dream Academy! HYBE x Geffen Records has just announced the next four contestants to be eliminated from their global girl group audition program.
This elimination comes after the show’s second mission, which aimed to enhance the contestants’ artistry and teamwork beyond their individual skills. The mission took place at Korea’s notorious Training & Development (T&D) facility, where the remaining 18 contestants were split into four groups.
Two groups performed a song and dance routine to LE SSERAFIM‘s “ANTIFRAGIL,” while the other two groups showcased their talent with LE SSERAFIM‘s “FEARLESS.” The performance videos are available on HYBE LABEL’s YouTube channel, and fans have been voting for their favorite contestants on WeVerse and YouTube after each mission.
During Mission No. 2, the 18 contestants also received a surprise prank from LE SSERAFIM. The group pretended to film social content for the trainees, adding an element of fun to their intense training experience.
With the conclusion of Mission No. 2, 14 contestants remain in the competition. However, the number will further decrease to 10 after Mission No. 3. The Top 10 contestants will then have the opportunity to perform at The Live Finale on November 17, where the final group members will be unveiled and the group’s name will be revealed.
