Elodie Yung is dropping some sassy hints about whether she’ll return as Elektra in the highly anticipated ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. And let me tell you, Marvel fans are eating it up!
After the recent return of several beloved characters from the Netflix series, such as Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Bullseye, it seems that the only key character left out of the MCU party is Elektra. But when asked if she’d be up for reprising her role, Elodie Yung delivered a saucy response, simply saying “Ask them!” Oh, Elodie, you tease!
It’s no surprise that Yung is keeping us on the edge of our seats with her game of Marvel-style cat and mouse. But fear not, fellow action and violence enthusiasts, the upcoming series is rumored to undergo a complete creative rework to bring back that gritty, action-packed vibe we loved from the Netflix version.
While plot details of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ are shrouded in secrecy, we do know that Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Sandrine Holt, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, and Michael Gaston are set to make appearances alongside the returning Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as the menacing Wilson Fisk, a.k.a Kingpin. Exciting stuff!
Now, before we get too carried away, it’s important to note that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ currently has no release date for Disney Plus. So, we’ll all have to hold our superhero horses and wait patiently for more news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But in the meantime, let’s keep our fingers crossed that Elodie Yung’s Elektra gets her chance to shine once again. After all, we could all use some more kick-ass women in the MCU!
