Tom and Ariana go head to head in ‘Vanderpump Rules’ trailer showdown.

The fallout from the Sandoval drama continues as the 11th season of Vanderpump Rules is set to kick off, and the dynamics are as volatile as ever. In the new trailer, released on Monday, we see Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix navigating their new world after the cheating drama that unfolded between Sandoval and Rachel Leviss last season. It’s a tough journey as the former couple remains “locked in a stalemate” for the house they continue to share post-split. On top of that, Madix is beginning a long-distance relationship with her new man, Daniel Wai, and is also taking a stab at Dancing With the Stars. Meanwhile, Madix and Katie Maloney are hard at work opening their sandwich shop, Something About Her, while Maloney is venturing into the dating scene after her divorce from Tom Schwartz. Speaking of Schwartzy, he seems to be channeling the breakup into a jaw-dropping, Ken-like makeover.

Lala Kent, on the other hand, is continuing her contentious custody battle over her 2-year-old daughter Ocean while exploring her fertility options as a single woman. “I’m just a b***h in these streets trying to rebrand and get a sperm donor,” she says at one point. Fellow mom in the group Scheana Shay is struggling to balance life with her toddler daughter, Summer, while keeping the spark alive in her marriage with Brock Davies. Then there’s James Kennedy, who is apparently killing it. His friendships appear to be strong, DJ career is on fire, and he is settling into a new house with his girlfriend, Ally Lewber. The couple are co-fur-parenting a cat and a dog, named Hippie, whom fans will remember was formerly called “Graham Cracker” during Kennedy’s relationship with Leviss. And of course, there’s Lisa Vanderpump, holding it all together while attempting to reconnect with Jax Taylor, who exited the series in 2020.

In an interesting twist, it seems that not everyone will be returning for season 11. Notably missing from the upcoming season is Leviss, who checked into a mental health treatment facility after filming the explosive Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion. It’s understandable, as a source revealed to ET that Leviss is focused on her mental health journey and knew going back to the show would open her up to trauma she’s been working on healing. Vanderpump reacted to Leviss’ decision, stating, “I’d like to have seen her sit down with me and also let the audience know where she was, how she was doing, what her thoughts were, how much contrition there was. And she kind of chose not to.” You can’t win ’em all, I guess.

With all the drama and excitement on the horizon, Vanderpump Rules seems like it’s going to be a wild ride. The Emmy-nominated series kicks off season 11 on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, so mark your calendars and get ready for some serious entertainment. And don’t forget to keep up with the latest updates on the series in the meantime!
