Jonathan Majors sheds tear in ABC interview; “shocked & afraid” of assault verdict.

In his first interview since being found guilty, Jonathan Majors discusses his assault trial and expresses shock and fear over the verdict. Find out more about the Marvel actor's emotional response and his recollection of the incident in this article.

So, it looks like Jonathan Majors was feeling a little emotional in his first interview since being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Cue the dramatic tear wipe!

The former Marvel actor sat down with ABC News Live to discuss the New York trial and said he was “shocked and afraid” as his guilty verdict was declared. Poor guy, must be tough to be a superstar and deal with legal drama at the same time.

Majors, who did not testify during the trial, told Linsey Davis that he could not comprehend his conviction. He is awaiting February 6 sentencing on the misdemeanor charges. The suspense is killing us!

“I’m standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?” Majors said. You tell ’em, Jonathan!

Majors said he had “never hit a woman,” but admitted his relationship with British dancer Jabbari was unhealthy. “I was reckless with her heart, not with her body,” he told ABC News. Well, at least he’s owning up to his mistakes. Baby steps, right?

The Creed III star provided his recollection of what took place in March 2023, when he was involved in an altercation with Jabbari in a for-hire SUV in New York City. Sounds like a wild ride!

“She went to grab the phone. I held the phone. I pulled the phone back. She came on top of me, squeezed my face, slapped me. That’s all I remember,” he said. Love is a battlefield, right Jonathan?

Majors said he did not know how Jabbari’s injuries, including a fractured finger and cut behind her ear, occurred. “I wish to god I knew. That would give clarity. That would give me some type of peace about it,” he said. Looks like even he is confused about what went down that fateful night. Classic case of he said, she said!

The actor added: “I’m an athlete. I’m a sportsman. I know my body. I know how it moves. I know my strength, or lack thereof, you know? None of that was employed on her.” Well, at least we know he’s not using his superpowers for evil, right?

More follows. Or does it? We’ll just have to wait and see what unfolds in this Hollywood drama. Can’t wait for the next episode of “As the Superstar Turns”! Stay tuned for more updates on Jonathan Majors’ legal woes.
