The highly anticipated 6th and final season of The Crown is set to premiere in two parts. Part 1 will debut on November 16, while Part 2 will follow on December 14. Netflix revealed these premiere dates alongside an exciting trailer that takes viewers on a journey through Queen Elizabeth’s reign. Be sure to watch the captivating trailer above.

In Part 1, viewers can look forward to Elizabeth Debicki reprising her role as Princess Diana, alongside Dominic West who will portray Prince Charles. Imelda Staunton will continue to impress as Queen Elizabeth II, with Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret. Returning to the series are Salim Daw as Mohamed Al Fayed and Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed. Making their debuts in this season are Rufus Kampa as Prince William and Fflyn Edwards as Prince Harry.

The final chapter of The Crown, Part 2, will consist of six episodes. This segment will delve into Prince William’s struggle to reintegrate into life at Eton following the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana. It will also focus on the monarchy’s challenges in navigating public opinion. As Queen Elizabeth celebrates her Golden Jubilee, she reflects on the future of the monarchy, which includes the marriage of Charles and Camilla, as well as the emergence of a new Royal fairytale with William and Kate.

Prince William and Prince Harry will be portrayed by Ed McVey and Luther Ford, respectively, in their debut roles. Additionally, Meg Bellamy will portray Kate Middleton.

Since its premiere in 2016, The Crown has been met with critical acclaim, earning a total of 69 Emmy nominations and winning 21 awards. The series has also received 10 Golden Globe nominations, securing four wins, and 15 BAFTA nominations.
