Did Troye Sivan feel like he was in a weird dream performing with Taylor Swift on her Reputation Tour?

Troye Sivan is reminiscing about the time he took the stage with Taylor Swift during her Reputation Tour a few years ago.

The now 28-year-old singer/actor had the opportunity to perform “My My My!” with Taylor at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., while on the tour in 2018.

In a recent interview while promoting his upcoming album, Troye was asked to describe what it was like to share the stage with Taylor.

“That was a crazy one,” he shared during his appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I remember it vividly because the floor was a screen. As I popped up onto the stage, I was trying to ground myself. I looked out and saw this massive stadium filled with people. I tried to look down at the floor to center myself, but the floor was constantly changing with moving lights.”

Troye continued, “So, I thought to myself, ‘Okay, let me just look at her.’ But then I started having this out-of-body experience where I was like, ‘Why is Taylor Swift singing at me right now? What’s going on?’ It felt like I was in a weird dream. However, once we started strutting down the runway, I embraced it and let my inner Victoria’s Secret model shine. I allowed myself to indulge in the fantasy.”

Troye also couldn’t help but express his admiration for Taylor, sharing that he’s been a big fan for years. He even sends her his music!

“She’s always been one of the first people I send my music to,” he admitted. “I’ve shared almost everything with her over the years, although I don’t think I sent her ‘Rush’ because that one came later. When my new album was complete, I sent it to her just to get her opinion.”
