Gypsy Rose Blanchard is finally free and she’s making her Insta debut like a boss! The 32-year-old, who served eight years in prison for the murder of her mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, is out and about and living her best life.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Gypsy Rose was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, thanks to her mom’s knack for fabricating medical records and making it seem like Gypsy suffered from a laundry list of medical issues. Poor Gypsy was pumped full of meds and went through unnecessary medical procedures for years. I mean, talk about a rough childhood!

Unfortunately, Dee Dee was found dead from stab wounds in 2015, and Gypsy Rose was convicted of second-degree murder. She even copped to encouraging her online boyfriend to get rid of her mom. Talk about family drama!

But enough of the heavy stuff, let’s talk about her epic Instagram selfie! Gypsy Rose was picked up from jail by her husband and the first thing they did was hit the shoe stores. Priorities, people! Then, on Friday, she blessed us with a selfie and captioned it “First selfie of freedom!” The pic racked up over 1 million likes in just three hours. Now that’s the power of social media.

And as if that’s not enough, she’s got a docu-series coming out next week. She’s definitely making the most of her newfound freedom, and we’re here for it!

So there you have it, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is back in the game and she’s not holding back. Here’s to a fresh start and endless shoe shopping sprees! Cheers to Gypsy!
