The highly anticipated first trailer for Marvel Studios Echo on Disney Plus has finally been released, and it has left fans in awe. The stunning new footage showcases a truly unique addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s catalog of shows.
There has been plenty of speculation and worry surrounding Echo ever since its announcement. Many fans feared that the series might turn out to be Marvel Studios’ weakest effort yet on Disney Plus. However, the show’s first trailer seems to completely defy those expectations, providing action-packed footage that showcases Alaqua Cox reprising her role as the titular character, who was first introduced in Hawkeye. Based on the trailer, it appears that Echo may be exactly what fans have been eagerly waiting for from Marvel Studios. Alongside Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, the series also features the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Joining them are Chaske Spencer as Henry, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Greene as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Bonnie, and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez.
Echo is set to debut early next year on Disney Plus, and all episodes of the show will be released at once. This marks the first MCU project on Disney Plus to follow the binge-watching model popularized by Netflix.
Alaqua Cox’s Echo will be the tenth original Marvel Studios series on Disney Plus, joining the ranks of other highly successful shows. It is one of two live-action spinoffs from previous series, with the other being the WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
The executive producers for Echo include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre, and Jason Gavin. Additionally, Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth will serve as co-executive producers.
